Academic staff of the Child Development Program conduct research in various areas of child development and education in line with their fields of expertise.
Their research activities cover a wide range of topics, including early childhood, child development, special education, inclusive education, family education, children’s rights, play and drama, children’s literature, educational environments, developmental assessment, and the support of children’s social, emotional, cognitive and language development.
Within this scope, academic staff carry out scientific research, prepare national and international academic publications, participate in scientific meetings, and take part in projects, seminars, workshops and similar academic activities related to their fields of study.
In addition to individual academic studies, interdisciplinary and interinstitutional collaboration is also encouraged within the program. Research and academic activities aim to contribute to current knowledge in the field of child development and to support the transfer of scientific knowledge into educational and practical settings.
