The mission of the Department of Child Care and Youth Services is to train qualified professionals who can assess children’s developmental, care, and educational needs based on scientific knowledge, apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, and adhere to children’s rights and professional ethical principles.

Our department aims to help students develop into individuals who take children’s individual differences into account, embrace an inclusive approach to education, communicate effectively with families and the community, keep pace with technological advancements, and view lifelong learning as an integral part of professional development. Contributing to the protection of children’s best interests and the development of high-quality early childhood services through education, research, practice, and community engagement are among the department’s core responsibilities.

  • Vision
To be a pioneering department recognized for its high-quality, practice-oriented education in the field of child development, care, and education; one that is grounded in children’s rights and inclusive education; integrates scientific and technological advancements into educational processes; and builds strong partnerships with its stakeholders.

Our department aims to be an educational unit that serves as a model at both the regional and national levels by producing graduates who are highly sought after not only for their professional knowledge and skills but also for their ethical sensitivity, sense of social responsibility, communication skills, and innovative approach.
